Description
Ayrton Bed – Cattelan Italia (Design: Andrea Lucatello, 2020)
The Ayrton bed introduces a sensual and enveloping silhouette to modern interiors, conceived by designer Andrea Lucatello. Its padded headboard, adorned with precise diamond quilting, is offered in a choice of fabric, micro nubuck, synthetic leather, or soft leather, fully selected from the refined sample card. Slightly protruding headboard sides wrap around the sleeper, giving a comforting embrace that is visually distinct. The contrasting design is completed by steel feet with bright lacquered finishes in titanium (GFM11) or bronze (GFM18), infusing the bed with a dynamic harmony between softness and strength.
Ayrton is engineered for durability and comfort with a multilayer birch wood and steel headboard frame, padded in variable-density polyurethane foam. The slatted base features a steel frame finished in epoxy powder and beech wood staves; the bed frame and feet are executed in lacquered steel. This model is suitable solely for indoor environments and designed for those seeking a contemporary Italian statement piece with luxurious detail.
