Description
The Cane-line Sticks Platform Arm-/Backrest, designed by Cane-line Design, is a structural component for the Sticks Platform modular sofa system. Its adaptable design allows it to be positioned as either an armrest or a backrest, making it possible to tailor the sofa layout to your terrace, garden or hospitality setting.
Select Sand Aluminium for a contemporary powder-coated finish or Teak for a warm, natural expression. Combine this arm-/backrest with the separately sold Sticks Platform Sofa Module Base and Sticks Platform Side/Back Cushion to create a complete, comfortable modular lounge configuration.

Armrest or backrest
Use the same component vertically as a supporting backrest or at the side of a module as an armrest. This lets you create a configuration that works for your available outdoor space.
Comfort is separate
The matching Sticks Platform Side/Back Cushion is sold separately. It provides the upholstered layer and includes Cane-line’s QuickDry & Airflow system.
Material expression
Sand Aluminium gives the Platform system a clean contemporary appearance. Teak adds natural warmth and will gradually develop a silver-grey patina when left untreated outdoors.

Care guidance
Aluminium care
Clean Sand Aluminium with a soft cloth, mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads, aggressive cleaners and high-pressure washing.
Teak care
Clean teak with mild soapy water and a soft brush. Teak treatment is optional; untreated teak develops a natural silver-grey patina over time.
Cushion care
If you add the matching Side/Back Cushion, allow it to drain and dry fully after rainfall before covering or placing it into long-term storage.
Important: This product is a structural arm-/backrest only. It does not include a Platform Base, seat cushion, Side/Back Cushion or protective cover. Select one Frame finish when ordering. Product measurements and weight exclude separately selected compatible components.
