Materials & care
Teak care
Natural teak behaviour: Teak will gradually weather from golden‑brown to a soft silver‑grey when exposed to the elements, without compromising structural integrity.
Care guidance: Clean teak with mild detergent or Gloster‑recommended teak cleaner as needed, avoid power washing and do not apply teak oil for outdoor use. See the Teak Care Sheet for full instructions.
Wicker care
All‑weather wicker: The Wheat woven seat uses weather‑resistant synthetic fibre designed to withstand UV, pool and coastal environments.
Cleaning: Use lukewarm water with a mild detergent and a soft brush, rinse thoroughly and remove any residual foam from between the weave, following the Wicker Care Sheet guidance.
Protective covers
Tailored cover: A dedicated protective cover is available to help keep the chair cleaner and reduce surface weathering when not in use.
Use & maintenance: Only cover fully dry furniture, periodically remove the cover to allow air circulation, and clean and store the cover in line with the Protective Covers Care Sheet.
Warranty
Gloster warrants its outdoor furniture to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use, provided products are maintained in accordance with published care guidance. Natural teak weathering, typical wear and tear and items or components over five years old are not treated as manufacturing defects.
