The Gloster Split 220cm Dining Table – Teak is a slim, contemporary outdoor dining table that combines a powder‑coated aluminium frame with a natural finish slatted teak top. At 220cm in length with seating for up to eight, it offers the choice of Meteor or White frames and is supplied without a parasol hole.

Materials & Construction
Teak Table Top
Natural finish teak: The slatted tabletop is made from natural finish teak. Left outdoors, teak will gradually weather from a golden‑brown colour to a light silvery grey over time, depending on climate and exposure.
Surface feel: Teak components are finely sanded and may be buffed to bring natural oils to the surface, creating a smooth touch and a subtle sheen that will soften as the table is exposed to sun, rain and cleaning.
Teak care: Gloster recommends cleaning teak once or twice a year with water and mild detergent or Gloster Teak & Upholstery Cleaner, with occasional light sanding to remove raised grain. Power washers should not be used on teak as they can erode the surface and leave it rough.
Aluminium Frame & Covers
Powder‑coated aluminium: The Split 220cm uses a powder‑coated aluminium frame (Meteor or White), providing structural rigidity with reduced weight and good outdoor durability.
Protective covers: Gloster offers tailored Weathermax protective covers for many pieces, including this table. Weathermax is a heavy‑duty, 100% solution‑dyed polyester fabric that combines UV resistance, water resistance, breathability and durability to help keep off dirt and the worst of the weather.
Cover usage guidance: Furniture and cushions should be completely dry before covering, especially for longer periods. Standing water should be removed from covers to limit moisture being drawn through the fabric, and covers should be removed regularly so the furniture can be cleaned and maintained even when not in use.

All‑season use: The aluminium frame and teak top are designed for permanent outdoor use. Teak will change in character as it weathers; using a protective cover helps to slow this process and keeps off dirt, leaves and bird droppings.
Teak Protection Options
Letting teak weather: To enjoy a natural silver‑grey patina, allow the teak to weather and clean it thoroughly once or twice a year. Gloster Teak & Upholstery Protector can be applied over weathered teak to help repel moisture and protect against food and drink staining, with annual application recommended and twice‑yearly treatment suggested for tabletops.
Maintaining brown teak: To keep teak closer to its fresh brown appearance, Gloster recommends sealing new teak with Gloster Teak Sealer once a year, then applying Gloster Teak Protector on top to help repel moisture and prevent stains.
Avoid unsuitable products: Because teak is naturally oily, paint and varnish do not adhere well and will peel. Gloster does not recommend using teak oil or other wood oils on outdoor teak; frequent oiling can encourage mildew on the oil film and cause the surface to turn black, which then requires aggressive sanding to remove.
