Description
Amadeus Bed with Covered Headboard – Cattelan Italia (Design: 2016)
The Amadeus upholstered bed presents a refined vintage aesthetic inspired by seventies design language. This modern double bed is defined by precise geometric lines, softly rounded corners, and a spacious headboard quilted with vertical stitchings that create a striking three-dimensional texture. This covered headboard version features a back fully covered in the same luxury upholstery (synthetic or soft leather) as the front, amplifying sophistication and providing a seamless look from every angle.
The bed rests on inclined steel feet available in bronze (GFM18) or graphite (GFM69) embossed lacquered finishes, which enhance its slender and architecturally elegant silhouette. The structure integrates a headboard made from Finnish solid pine wood and chipboard, padded with high-quality variable-density polyurethane foam and covered meticulously with upholstery. The bed frame mirrors this construction, also padded and upholstered for comfort and durability.
Its slatted base includes a steel frame coated with epoxy varnish and staves crafted from multilayer beech wood, ensuring robust support. This model is intended strictly for indoor use and reflects expert Italian craftsmanship, designed to furnish modern bedrooms with vintage charm.
