Materials & care
Teak care
Natural finish teak frame: The bench frame is made from natural finish teak, a hardwood chosen for outdoor durability, structural stability and its beautifully evolving grain.
Care guidance: Teak will weather naturally from golden-brown to a silver-grey patina over time. Clean using mild detergent or Gloster-recommended teak cleaner, avoid power washing, and follow the Teak Care Sheet for full maintenance guidance.
Wicker care
All-weather woven seat: The Wheat wicker seat is made from weather-resistant synthetic fibre designed to cope with UV exposure, salt air, chlorine and general outdoor conditions.
Cleaning guidance: Wash with lukewarm water and mild detergent using a soft brush, then rinse thoroughly and remove any residual soap trapped within the weave. Refer to the Wicker Care Sheet for full care instructions.
Protective covers
Dedicated bench cover: A tailored protective cover is available to help keep the bench cleaner and reduce weathering when it is not in use.
Cover care: Only cover furniture when fully dry, periodically lift covers to promote airflow, and maintain the cover itself in line with the Protective Covers Care Sheet.
Warranty
Gloster warrants its outdoor furniture to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use, subject to proper maintenance and aftercare. Natural teak weathering, normal wear and tear, and age-related changes that occur through outdoor exposure are not considered manufacturing defects. Refer to the Warranty, Teak Care Sheet, Wicker Care Sheet and Protective Covers Care Sheet for full terms and maintenance guidance.
