Description
The Cane-line Parc Rocking Chair is an exclusive outdoor rocking chair designed by Danish design duo Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen MDD. Parc brings together a sculptural teak seat and backrest with a clean powder-coated aluminium frame, creating an outdoor chair that feels both natural and architectural. The contrast between warm wood and streamlined metal gives the chair a distinctive Scandinavian character that works equally well in contemporary gardens, coastal settings and more traditional terraces.
Parc is more than a visual statement. The seat and backrest are deliberately shaped to follow the natural contours of the body—a body-fitted construction that supports relaxed sitting and a smooth rocking motion. Its compact proportions make it practical for a balcony, covered terrace, garden corner or poolside lounge, while the carefully engineered construction provides the comfort expected of a dedicated relaxation chair.
The rocking chair includes two integrated safety blocks at the base of the legs. These blocks limit the rocking range when you lean back, helping prevent excessive tipping and allowing the chair to be used with greater confidence. This thoughtful detail reflects the collection’s combination of refined form, everyday comfort and functional outdoor design.

Design & comfort
Body-fitted relaxation
Parc has a deliberately shaped seat and backrest rather than a flat slatted profile. This body-fitted form supports the natural curve of the body and creates a more comfortable position for extended outdoor relaxation.
Teak meets aluminium
The solid visual presence of teak is balanced by the slim aluminium frame. The result is a rocking chair that has warmth and material depth without appearing heavy in an outdoor setting.
Safety-stop detail
The two blocks fitted to the legs act as practical stops for the rocking movement. They allow a comfortable rocking action while limiting excessive rearward tilt.

Teak ageing & care
Teak is a dense hardwood valued for its natural strength, durability and weather resistance. When left untreated outdoors, its original golden-brown colour gradually develops into a silver-grey patina. This colour change is a natural feature of teak and does not reduce the structural quality of the wood.
If you prefer the silver-grey patina, clean the chair regularly with water, a soft brush and mild soap to remove leaves, pollen, dirt and other surface debris. If you want to preserve the original warm golden-brown teak colour, clean the wood thoroughly and apply an appropriate teak cleaner and teak protector to dry timber. Cane-line recommends regular protection when retaining the original teak colour is important.
Clean the powder-coated aluminium frame with mild soap and water. During extended periods of non-use, use Cover 11 while ensuring ventilation around the chair, or store the furniture in a dry, protected location. Avoid leaving a cover tightly sealed against wet furniture for extended periods, as airflow helps reduce condensation.
