The Cane-line Peacock Rocking Chair with Teak Legs, designed by Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen MDD, brings a gentle rocking function to the recognisable embracing form of the Peacock lounge chair. Its rounded, handwoven Soft Rope shell creates a cosy seat that wraps naturally around the body, while the curved teak base introduces warmth, movement and a relaxed outdoor-lounge character.
Dark Grey Cane-line Soft Rope is handwoven around the chair shell and combined with a Grade A teak rocking base. Grade A teak is the highest teak grade, selected for its quality and natural durability. The teak used for the base is harvested under SVLK certification, supporting responsible forest management. Together, the soft woven chair shell and warm teak runners create a tactile material contrast suited to terraces, gardens, balconies and poolside settings.
The chair can be used without a cushion, but a matching Peacock Lounge Chair cushion set is available separately for greater softness and support. The cushion uses QuickDry construction, helping water drain and air circulate so it can recover more quickly following rain.

Care & maintenance
Clean the Cane-line Soft Rope regularly with a soft brush, mild soap and water. The Grade A teak rocking base will naturally develop a silver-grey patina when left untreated outdoors. This is a normal and expected characteristic of teak. To retain the original golden-brown colour, clean the teak and apply suitable Cane-line Teak Care products.
Allow the selected QuickDry cushion set to dry fully after sustained rainfall. During winter or extended periods of non-use, use Cover 11 or store the chair in a dry, protected setting. Ensure that furniture is dry and ventilated before applying a cover for extended storage.
