Description
The Gloster Ambient Mesh Pendant Lamps are woven outdoor pendants by Henrik Pedersen, combining all‑weather wicker shades with solar & mains power rechargeable LED light units. Offered in Large and Extra Large diameters and in Carob or Sorrel wicker finishes, these pendants create soft, atmospheric pools of light over outdoor dining tables, lounge settings and covered terraces.
Key Features
- Two pendant sizes: Ambient Mesh pendants are available in Large (51cm diameter × 33cm height) and Extra Large (79cm diameter × 38cm height) sizes for single or grouped installations.
- All-weather wicker shades: Both sizes use woven all‑weather wicker shades that diffuse the light and add texture to outdoor spaces.
- Solar & mains rechargeable LED: Each pendant includes a solar and mains power rechargeable LED light unit with 18 LEDs, 2700K colour temperature and 100–180 lumen output.
- Remote dimming & control: A radio frequency remote control provides 8 light output settings and a working distance of up to 35m.
- Long battery life: Battery life is approximately 8 hours on the maximum light setting.
- Ready to hang: Each pendant is supplied with a 2.5m hanging wire for flexible suspension heights.

LED performance
Shared light specification: Both Large and Extra Large pendants use the same LED unit: 18 LEDs, warm 2700K colour temperature, 100–180 lumens output, Li‑Ion battery and IP64 rating.
Power & remote control: The LED unit is solar and mains power rechargeable, with adaptor input 100V–240V DC and adaptor output 4.2V, and is controlled via a radio-frequency remote with 8 dimming steps and up to 35m working distance.
Accessories
Additional LED light unit: Available as a replacement or spare light unit for both sizes.
Additional remote control: Spare remotes allow control of multiple pendants or provide a backup handset.

Wicker shade & hardware
Woven all‑weather wicker: The wicker shades are designed for outdoor use and can be cleaned with a mild detergent solution and a soft bristle brush, followed by thorough rinsing to remove residues.
Hanging wire: Each pendant is supplied with a 2.5m hanging wire, allowing adjustment to the desired suspension height under pergolas, ceilings or beam structures.
General care
Outdoor use: To keep the pendants looking their best, periodic cleaning and avoiding prolonged pooling water or heavy soiling on the wicker surface is recommended.
Warranty
Gloster warrants its outdoor products to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use, subject to proper care and maintenance. Full details, coverage and exclusions are provided in the current Europe and Rest of World warranty document.
