Material Composition
The Fern Aluminium Dining Chair with Arms is made from powder coated aluminium, woven outdoor rope, cushion fillings and outdoor fabric upholstery. This combination gives the chair a lighter, more contemporary appearance while keeping the sculptural back shape and supportive comfort of the Fern collection.
Outdoor Fabrics
Gloster uses solution dyed acrylic fabrics designed for outdoor use, helping the cushion resist fading, repel water and remain practical for everyday exterior living. Fabrics vary by geographic market, and the included seat cushion can be selected from Gloster’s outdoor fabric options where available.
Rope & Cleaning
The woven outdoor rope back panel should be maintained with light routine care such as brushing off dirt, cleaning spills promptly and using a mild detergent solution when needed. Gentle cleaning helps preserve the appearance of the rope and prevents dirt from becoming embedded in the weave.
Protective Covers
When not in use, Gloster recommends using the specially designed protective cover to help reduce dirt, leaf staining, bird droppings and general environmental build-up. Furniture and cushions should be fully dry before long-term covering, and covers should still be removed periodically for cleaning and maintenance.
