Powder coated aluminium & teak
Robust mixed-material frame: The chair combines a natural finish teak frame with powder coated aluminium components that provide structural reinforcement and introduce crisp, colour-fast accents.
Low-maintenance metals: Powder coated aluminium is easy to care for, requiring only occasional cleaning with water and mild detergent using a soft cloth or sponge, avoiding abrasive cleaners, steel wool and Scotchbrite pads.
Ferrari sling seat & back
Outdoor sling performance: The sling seat and back are made from Ferrari Batyline, a PVC‑coated polyester mesh designed for outdoor environments with strong UV, chlorine and salt resistance and a pre‑tensioned construction that limits sagging over time.
Sling cleaning: Sling can be cleaned with a mild detergent solution and lukewarm water using a soft brush or sponge, then thoroughly rinsed so no foam residues remain in the weave.
Natural teak detailing: The natural finish teak elements will gradually weather from golden brown to a light silver‑grey outdoors; periodic cleaning and optional teak care products can be used depending on the desired appearance.

Protective covers
Stacking protection: Gloster offers protective covers designed for individual Sway stacking chairs and for stacks, helping to keep frames and sling surfaces cleaner and reducing exposure to the elements when the chairs are not in use.
Cover usage: Chairs should be dry before covering, standing water should be removed from the cover surface and covers should be lifted periodically to allow furniture to be cleaned and checked, especially during long storage periods.

Care sheets: Gloster provides care guidance for powder coated aluminium, sling and teak, setting out recommended cleaning products and maintenance intervals to help maintain appearance and performance over time.
Warranty
Gloster warrants its outdoor furniture to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use, provided that products are cleaned and maintained in line with Gloster’s aftercare instructions. Normal weathering of teak, typical sling behaviour, standard wear and tear and items over five years old are not considered manufacturing defects, and warranty claims are not accepted where the chair has been misused, altered, exposed to abnormal conditions or returned without prior written authorisation.
