The A-series rectangular form (72×43 cm) is the more directional configuration — suited to placement in front of a sofa or in a lateral arrangement alongside a lounge chair. The B-series square form (50×50 cm) is more centred and symmetrical, sitting naturally at the centre of a seating group. Within each shape, the two heights (54 cm and 59 cm) are calibrated for paired multi-height groupings: placing one 54 cm and one 59 cm table together in the same zone creates a composed, staggered arrangement that is a hallmark of Cattelan Italia's occasional table presentation.

Titanium Embossed is the cool, precision-modern option suited to contemporary and minimalist interiors. Bronze Embossed is the warm, richly toned option that pairs most powerfully with warmer ceramic finishes (Golden Calacatta, Breccia, Colosseo, Luxor). Light and white finishes (Alabastro, Matt/Glossy Borghini Calacatta, Matt/Glossy Golden Calacatta, Taj Mahal, Matt Invisible) are the most versatile, reading as refined and airy across virtually any base metal and interior palette. Dark and dramatic finishes (Matt/Glossy Portoro, Glossy Sahara Noir, Makalu, Darwin) create powerful material contrast, particularly against Titanium Embossed for maximum tonal contrast, or against Bronze Embossed for a warm, enveloping monochromatic depth. Veined and graphically complex finishes (Breccia, Corcovado, Kaindy, Colosseo, Andromeda, Giava) are best appreciated on the wider A-series rectangular top where the pattern has room to read fully. Metal Column & Base
The Amalfi column is a precision-formed slender metal tube rising from a flat circular disc base. In Options 1 and 2, both column and base share the same embossed metal finish (Titanium Embossed or Bronze Embossed), creating a fully unified metal composition. In Option 3, the column is finished in Brushed Bronze — a directionally worked, linearly grained warm bronze surface — while the base retains the Bronze Embossed micro-textured finish, introducing a refined material contrast within the same warm tonal family.
Sintered Ceramic Top
The Amalfi top is produced in high-performance sintered ceramic, a material created by fusing natural minerals under extreme heat and pressure to replicate the visual depth of natural stone with superior functional properties. The ceramic top is resistant to scratching, heat, UV fading, and common household staining agents, requiring no sealing or specialist maintenance. Both matt and gloss surface treatments are produced within the same ceramic substrate.
Multi-Height Grouping
The Amalfi is designed for both standalone deployment and multi-height paired groupings. Within each plan shape (A rectangular or B square), the 54 cm and 59 cm height variants share identical column and base proportions, differing only in column length. When two Amalfi tables of the same shape but different heights are grouped together, the result is a staggered, composed occasional table arrangement that adds vertical dynamism and design sophistication to the living area.
