The Marlon bed combines architectural elegance and tactile comfort in a design that’s instantly inviting. Its hallmark is the oversized, pleated upholstered headboard, engineered to embrace both the sleeper and adjacent bedside tables with a sculptural softness. Designed by Archirivolto, Marlon’s frame in Canaletto walnut (NC) or burned oak stained ashwood (frRB) appears to gently float, supported subtly for a graceful presence within the bedroom. Materials are carefully chosen and artisanally finished, including premium woods and a full palette of sophisticated fabrics, micro nubuck, synthetic leather, or soft leather, all handmade in Italy.
Structural elements include a headboard of multilayer wood, MDF, and chipboard padded with variable-density polyurethane foam and covered in the user’s selected textile or leather. The bed frame is solid varnished walnut, while the slat uses a steel frame powder-coated with epoxy and multilayer beech wood staves. Steel feet are powder lacquered for robust, refined support. All finishes are determined via Cattelan Italia’s sample card, suitable exclusively for indoor use.
