Description
The VARENNE Console by Cattelan Italia (2023) is a masterpiece of Made in Italy design that perfectly combines traditional handcrafted woodworking with avant-garde forms. This designer wooden console features striking diagonal strips and shaped edges of varying thickness, creating a perfect paradox of balanced asymmetry. The wooden top flows aesthetically into the metal base - where the wood edge becomes thicker towards the outside while the metal plate tapers outwards from its wide center. Despite being over two meters wide, its long-line appearance makes it easily adaptable to different environments. Wall anchorage is necessary.
