Description
This collaboration with Karen McClure Garden Design was the first of many happy collaborations. Our first project was Karen’s working studio show garden, which featured our pergola as the hub for meeting clients and co-workers in a beautifully designed outdoor setting. This pergola was fitted with two cedar walls, two zip screens, and two heaters, allowing for a completely enclosed and cosy space when needed.
Key Features
- Aluminium Louvre Roof: This free-standing pergola measures 5.2 x 4.0m with an additional 70cm timber roof extension.
- Posts: A simple structure with a post in each corner for support and underground drainage.
- Solid Timber Walls: The client requested bespoke, hand-selected cedar planks to tie in with the studio outbuilding, which is also clad in cedar. These will go grey naturally, adding to the charm.
- Decorative Aluminium Panels: Three aluminium panels create focal interest.
- Adjustable Pico Downlights: Integrated warm white downlights on a dimmer add ambience in the evenings.
- Zip Screen: Zip screens provide additional privacy and protection from the elements, seamlessly integrated into the design.
