Synthetic Outdoor Rope: Polyolefin is a synthetic rope material that resists moisture, UV exposure, and mould — making it suited to permanent outdoor placement without the degradation that natural jute or cotton ropes would experience in exterior conditions. Despite its synthetic composition, the bicolor braiding produces a surface that reads as warm and natural as traditional woven jute.
Hand-Braided Construction: Each Coco Pouf is hand-braided individually — meaning the braided texture is inherent to the construction method rather than a surface treatment, resulting in a dense, durable structure that maintains its form under regular use as seating and footrests.
Usage & Maintenance
Indoor & Outdoor Use: The polyolefin rope construction makes the Coco Poufs suited to both interior and covered or open outdoor settings — lounge terraces, pool decks, garden seating areas, and casual indoor living spaces.
Care: Brush loose debris from the braided surface with a soft brush. For cleaning, use a mild soap solution with a soft brush, rinse with clean water, and allow to dry fully in open air before returning to use. Avoid prolonged submersion in standing water.
