Aksel’s main top is always in canaletta walnut, while the raised back section may be crafted in canaletta walnut, select marbles, or Plus leather in the collection’s shades—accentuating the desk’s visual depth and tactile variety. A defining groove splits the top into two sections, acting as both a graceful design element and a functional channel: cables for electronic devices can pass through, while Porada’s optional Champagne-finish oval pencil tray and round organiser accessories fit snugly for everyday convenience and elegance.
A single drawer, to be specified left or right, enhances daily workflow. For holistic workspace solutions, the Aksel Lamp can be added—a table lamp designed by the same studio, featuring a white opal etched glass diffuser and a Champagne-finish Baydur base that matches the pencil tray and organiser.
