Teak maintenance: Teak can be allowed to weather naturally from golden brown to a silver‑grey patina with periodic cleaning, avoiding power washing and traditional teak oils outdoors, and using specialist teak cleaners and protectors as required.
Wicker, fabric & cover care: Woven wicker and outdoor fabrics benefit from prompt cleaning of spills and gentle washing with suitable cleaners, while Weathermax protective covers should be fitted to dry furniture and kept free of standing water for best long‑term performance.
Warranty
Gloster states that its outdoor furniture is warranted to the original purchaser against defective materials and workmanship under intended reasonable use, starting from the date of delivery and subject to correct maintenance and care as set out in Gloster’s aftercare instructions. Natural teak weathering, small end‑grain cracks and normal ageing of fabrics and wicker are considered part of expected outdoor use rather than manufacturing defects, and warranty claims are not accepted for products or components over five years old or for items that have been misused, modified or poorly maintained.
