Amadeus Bed – Cattelan Italia (Design: 2016)
The Amadeus upholstered bed is a refined model with a distinctive vintage character, inspired by seventies furniture aesthetics. Its pure geometric design is defined by clean lines, softly rounded corners, and a spacious headboard quilted with vertical stitchings that create a captivating three-dimensional effect. The bed is fully upholstered in synthetic or soft leather as per the sample card.
This version features inclined steel feet lacquered in bronze (GFM18) or graphite (GFM69), which emphasize the bed’s architectural and sleek silhouette. The headboard’s back is covered in synthetic leather, with an optional upgrade for soft leather back covering.
Constructed with a headboard in Finnish solid pine wood and chipboard, padded with variable-density polyurethane foam and upholstery, the bed frame follows the same solid pine wood and padded structure. The bed’s slats consist of a steel frame varnished with epoxy powders and multilayer beech wood staves. Feet are lacquered steel, varnished with epoxy powders. This piece is suitable for indoor use only.
