The Thomas bed, by Maurizio Manzoni, takes inspiration from anthropomorphic forms. Its headboard dramatically angles outward, with curving lines and recessed details creating a shell-like, sculptural profile. Elegant wide quilted stitching adds an extra layer of visual softness and sophistication. The raised bed frame, upholstered to coordinate with the headboard, stands on contrasting square metal feet, available in bronze (GFM18) or graphite (GFM69) embossed lacquered steel. This refined double bed combines luxurious upholstery and graphic lines for modern bedroom settings.
Technical construction features a headboard frame in multilayer pine wood and hardboard, padded with fire-retardant foam and finished in synthetic leather, fabric, micro nubuck or soft leather (as per sample card). The bed frame comprises MDF and steel, varnished with epoxy powders. Feet are steel, durable and powder-coated. A slatted base is included, made from powder-coated steel and multilayer beech wood staves. All finishes are customizable via the Cattelan Italia sample card and suited for indoor use only.
